AIM (AOL Instant Messager)
With the AIM service you can chat in real time with other AIM users and everyone who is on the America Online service. It has some interesting features but it's simplicity is it's biggest selling point. FREE!

MSN Messenger
This is the system Charlotte Internet uses for its internal messaging needs. MSN has a quality and stable product that is great for corporate and personal use. FREE!
